In 2023 one of my artworks was selected out of the 3528 that were submitted to Book 9 edition of Typism Book. Here I share the final piece printed in the book and the sketching process behind it.
The phrase is from a Rilke's poem. It inspires me and give me a sense of resilience, makes me think of how all of our experiences in life shape us, No feeling is final and even the worst of them has purpose. My Girlfriend is a Psychologist who focuses her work on emotional inteligence. She's the one who sugest this quote to me.
I feel very proud and grateful of being part of such a talented group of letterers, calligraphers and typographers from around the world. I also want to thank the Typism Community and Dominique Falla for their effort to do this curation.
